Linda Crook is an artist working in two and three dimensions. Her works include stone sculpture, small bronzes, medals, painting, prints and drawing.

She studied Fine Art at Camberwell College of Art, attaining an honours degree in 1983. She went on to gain a Masters degree in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College.

She has exhibited extensively throughout Europe and also in Beijing, South Korea, Hong Kong and New York.

as well as showing her work regularly in exhibitions in the U.K. Her work is in private collections and major collections including the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, and the Founders' Company.

Commissions include portrait medals for the British Museum, the Goldsmiths Company and the Founders' Company, as well as a large stone sculpture in a public space in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.  The Benson Medal, which is awarded by the Royal Society of Literature in the UK, unveiled in November 2020 was designed by Linda Crook.

Linda Crook has received awards from the British Art Medal Society, the Goldsmiths Company, the international medal society “FIDEM”, the medal biennial at Seixal, Portugal, and the New York based “Pen and Brush” society. She has co-curated two exhibitions of art medals in London - the first in 2014 at the Sladmore Gallery, and the second in 2015 at the Boroni Gallery where she won first prize for the medal "Ariadne".

 Linda Crook is a member of the British Art Medal Society, and has been mentor to two New Medallists of the Society. She is also founder member of the women's community art group, Redder Splash, based in South London and founded in 1984.
